Hamilton Pools just outside of Austin Texas

We took a trip out to the countryside last Sunday to Hamilton Pools last Sunday and we spent the day swimming and walking about in the hot water pools.

Here I am out for a game of Golf at Jimmy Clay Golf Course in Austin. It was 107 degrees today on the course, thats f***in hot!!!

Swimming at Barton Springs

This is our local swimming pool called Barton Spings, its about 300 m long and about 40 m wide. It is part of the river but all the sides are finished like a regular outdoor pool. Really good place to sit about for a day.

If you look closely you can see me doing a head over heels 360 bomb off the diving board, i was told i got a round of applause for this, it hurt pretty bad on entry.

Our Apartment in Austin

Here is our front room with Alison watching the box. We had to furnish the place ourselves, so we got the recliner from Alisons folks, we had to get a new TV and Sofa and we bought the Coffee table at a second hand furniture store for $60 bucks, plus i had to fight off two mexicans for it...we also got a plant that u can make out on the left....deadly like

This is our kitchen, again how exciting!! I have the Kettle on as you can see...you can't beat the cup of Barry's bye...

Tubing in San Marcos

Here is one of the rivers where you can go float down for the day. Its a pretty popular pastime for the people Texas, it involves floating down a river for about 5 hours with a big group of people and a cooler of Beer.
